I was offered a job on Friday. Rick, one of the lawyers I worked for at the firm, has opened his own practice. He's asked me to be his HR person, to help him set up his office and find him a GOOD office manager (he offered me *that* job, but I turned him down . . . been there, done that, won't do it again). It would be a temporary position, only as long as it takes me to get people hired and trained to Rick's liking, but it would pay really well. And, on top of that, he wants me to write up all the tech stuff (employee handbook, code of conduct, mission statement . . . that sort of thing). Aric and I have talked about it, and I'm taking the job.

The OMG! comes in at the thought of leaving B with a sitter or at daycare. At least it's a temp position though. At the most? Three months. I can do that. *nods*
